I am afraid this might be brain tumor. My name is Otto and I am almost 20 years old and I am Asian. Im a guy. I am slightly over weight and I do not smoke. The entire thing started when I was heading off to college in the summer of 2007. My mother and I were heading to Washington DC from LA. We were driving across country. one night when we stopped to grab dinner I suddenly experienced difficulty swallowing. Then my head felt really confused and just plain strange. I could not talk properly. I could only answer to simple questions and I was subtly shaking. We went back to the hotel and I just went to bed but even then I was feeling really weird. I do not know how to describe this well, but it feels like a gush of different thoughts rushing through my head and I cannot control them. My mom did not understand what was going on because I was normal and everything about me from the exterior was fine. Then I got to college, the same symptoms did not come back for about two months. One night when I was sleeping my room-mate flashed the lights really quickly when I was sleeping. Then several minutes later I experienced the same sensation I did when I was driving across country, this time only worse. I kept staring into the distance to try and control my thoughts. Then I got up and the trembling started all over my body but I could still walk and speak. I could only form small sentences however and I could not answer my room-mate properly. I was panicking but I never lost consciousness. After that night I became extremely alert and worried. The last time I had a seizure was when I was really small and my mom says it was because I had a high fever. At the time I thought I was just sitting too long from all that driving and I thought all the change from coming to college was causing me stress so I did not pay enough attention. My friend's mother is a nurse so I followed my friend to see her. She told me she had no idea and told me I should seek help. I did not because after that night it stopped completely for a while and I learned how to control my weird sensations in the head afterward when I do get smaller versions of the attack. It has been a year since the first event happened and right now those small sensations are coming back. Not as often as when I went to college but I am extremely worried this might be something serious. I do not get headaches....but this morning I started noticing subtle sharp pains on the right side of my head. they are like bolts of pain but very small and happened very little this morning. probably once every thirty minutes. They were gone after I woke up about an hour later. Right now my head feels heavy, maybe its psychological but I am terrified. I do not have an appetite which is unusual. I am not hungry because I feel a very slight nausea. I feel pressure in the back of my head. My neck is sore because I fell off a Banana Boat before the dizziness and slight nausea happened. I have read all over the internet and they are only making me even more worried. Before the banana boat fall I was perfectly fine but I started experiencing dizziness afterward. I went banana boating sunday, right now it is thursday. its still here. the lack of appetite is making my mother worried. I am going to Japan to see my father. I will arrange for an MRI scan of my head. Hopefully its nothing serious. can a whiplash cause such nausea and lack of appetite for days? Since the partial seizures started from a year back, even if its a brain tumor, should it be benign? I do not know. I am trying not to freak out but this is making me worried.

Sleep talking... what is going on?

A lot of people talk in there sleep. The only way you are going to know you do it is if some one tells you. I have conversations during sleep. My 5yr old and 3yr old talk in there sleep. And the fact that you were speaking full sentences in the language that you are currently learning means you know more of that language than you remember. When you go to sleep it give your brain time to reboot like a computer when you make system changes it may need to reboot to fully accept the changes you made. Like learning during sleep you work on problems you are still processing new information verbalizing this process is in my opinion nothing to worry about unless you start feeling excessively fatigued through out your day.

Well, for a start I would rescue at least a dozen just in case one doesn't take. Plant them all in the same large pot. A good potting soil with rotting leaves or compost. They won't survive in the house so place them in a spot with sun and filtered sun. Water when necessary. Let the surface dry but when you stick your finger in the soil you should feel moisture, if not, water them. Don't forget they'll be outdoors so will get rain too.When the 1st frost hits cover the pot with burlap, the leaves will fall just like a big tree but don't water. They like to be outdoors as it's natural for them The burlap stops any snow from crushing them. They are hardy so should do ok. Keep them in the pot for a few years, until they are sturdy enough to plant in the garden. Feed them in the spring with Miracle grow. Good luck.

I have acid reflux/indigestion all the time...?

I am going to a GI doctor on monday for a consultation to get an endoscopy and colonoscopy done... I am 22 years old and have been having this problem for a long time (probably since I was in like 4th grade maybe even younger)... I have been on medicines like zantac 75, omeprazole, pepcid, protonix, and nexium... I am currently on 40mg of nexium and i am still breaking through it with the acid reflux... I find myself taking lots and lots and lots of tums... it seems like anything i eat gives me reflux... Any one agree that doctors are useless?

I have had sciatica for 9 years now and last year the pain became more severe with agonizing hip pain, numbness and pain in my thigh, groin pain and back pain. Doctor referred me for physio but therapist said as physio did not work 1st time was unlikely to work again. One doctor told me to get a hobby, other doctors said the groin pain may or may not be related to the back pain, no doctor will let me have an x-ray or mri scan and today the cherry on the cake. I saw another doctor and was told to get plenty of fresh air, walk a lot which i already do and which the physio said did not count as exercise and wear a belt when i wear trousers. I have given up now and resigned myself to chronic pain. The only way i can sleep is with copious amounts of alcohol, painkillers and sleeping pills. I had hysterectomy 10 years ago and my back was never the same after.

My laptop is admittedly a little old, however a problem occurs during any games or videos, even browser based ones, where the game will run smoothly half of the time, but this will be punctuated by tremendous burst of lag and low frame rates. My laptop is certainly not a gaming laptop (2gb ram, Dual core 1.9Ghz, ATI Mobility radeon X1200 integrated) but thes problems did not occur when I first got it. Why does our sump pump located under our in-ground pool fail over and over again?

When we bought our house with an in-ground pool we had no idea that there was a pump located under the pool in the deep end that pumps out ground water. The people that sold us the house neglected to tell us of its existence and that it not longer worked. After some investigation we determined that they replaced the pump twice and the second pump failed before we took possession of the house. We have subsequently replaced it three times and now it has failed again. Each time we replace the pump, the pool workers come in and pull the liner back, dig out the old one, replace it, wire everything back in again, pull the liner back and fill the pool back up. The first time this cost us over $4,000 because we chose to replace the liner because it was somewhat degraded, the second and third time it cost us about $1600. The pump is wired to a switch above ground on our deck. We flip the switch on when we have a lot of rain to prevent water collecting under the liner causing it to float. Any ideas why each pump would fail?

I dont even know where to start! First off, I'm 31 years old, and I have completely sworn off men for the rest of my life. I figured it just wasn't meant to be for me and I would have to just move on. I'm a widow, and I have 4 son's. 3 with my husband, and I have a baby from somebody after my husband ped away. We were engaged but he was just after my money and split when I found out I was pregnant. So considering I have a late husband, and only dated one person since and he turned out to be the worst kind of creep you can imagine.......you can see why I'm a little gun shy. Not to mention I have 4 kids! Who in the world wants anything to do with a single mom of 4 boys! And what kind of mother parades men in and out of her childrens lives. So it was settled, no dating again until my children are raised. But then I met this cop............sort of. :D I thought my 2 year old had climbed over the fence in the backyard and ran away. His brothers and him were all playing outside. Then his brothers came in without him and had no idea where he was. I had been in the house doing laundry. The backyard is completely fenced in and we live way out in the country, so the kids playing in the yard, so long as all the gates are locked down, has never been a problem. Well we searched everywhere for him and couldnt find him ANYWHERE! I called 911 and they sent out the police and a K-9 unit to find him. As it turns out.......and much to my embarment later......he had fallen asleep underneath of the coffee table in the living room. This one cop that was there was so kind and attentive. I appologized and he said there was no problem, that he was glad it worked out that way. Then he started asking me questions like how things were going for me and OMG you have 4 sons! lol. As it turns out, he was also a cop dispatched to my house last year when I thought somebody had broken into my house but really......once again.....there was no problem at all. ( I'm a little on edge living on my own!) He asked me how everything had been going and kind of helped me get the kids settled so that I could calm down. Then he noticed an antique pasta maker in my kitchen and I told him I make pasta. He made a little more small talk, and then he left. Nothing that big and exciting really. But ever since....I CANT GET THIS GUY OFF OF MY MIND! Crazy right? It's driving me nuts. He wasnt wearing a wedding ring that I could tell so I dont believe he is married......but then again who knows! Also, I know that small talk doesn't mean he felt anything for me and he was probably just doing his job. Besides that....two false alarms within a year....the guy must think I'm an absolute flake. But I just cant seem to shake it. I cant stop thinking about him. So what do I do? Let it go, wait until I get over it and move on? Or should I some how try to make contact. my son just seems to wine, he is fine when people or even my husband is around but when he is alone with me he just wines. Hell have a nap and wake up, and will wine for half an hour, then if he falls, not badly but hell wine, if i step just into the kitchen or anywhere he wines, he ate dinner, i made a huge meal too, he ate all of it, and i cud tell was full cus he was playing with his food, i then cooked a sandwhich , ham and cheese, and he demanded and cried hysterically till i gave in and gave him some, i was trying tio let him know this is mummies food, you already had dinner, i tried eating it during his meal but he finsihed before mine was ready. Hi, need some help with this situation... A few weeks ago I ran into a old friend from highschool who i havent seen in 6 yrs on facebook. As soon as he accepted my friend request he started to instant message me and we started talking about music. He is a producer and i am a singer. So he was making a track that night and offered to come and pick me up. He picked me up at 7 and went back to the house and started to work on the track. We caught up on the present and had a great time. He also wants me to work with him on some songs. So 2 a.m. comes around and he asked me 4 a mage. I gave him one and then he gave me mine. I got immediately turned on but i tried to fight it. He started to kiss and touch all over me and i told him i dont have with friends, just my man. I told him the last time i had was 10 months ago, but the feeling became stronger and we had . Afterwards he is wanting me to lay on him and he is still all over me. I was kind of uncomfortable because i just had but he seemed cool about it. I told him to take me home and when i got there my mom just came back from being out. He got out the car and introduced himself. Then he hugged me and left. The next day he called and he was saying that hopefully he would like to formerly meet my parents one day if i invite him over for dinner. He doesnt call or text everyday but its like every other couple of days. I asked him if we could go to the show and he said sure. I asked if we could go out sometime, he said just let him know when... Some times when he call me, he just want me to listen to a track. Actually I think its majority of the time that he does. When should I contact again after an internship interview?

About a week and a half ago I had a phone interview for an internship and thought it went really well. The interviewer told me that I would hear back from him within 2-3 days. On the 2nd day he emailed me and said that I would hear from him within the beginning of the following week. In the middle of the week I emailed him and asked if I would still be hearing from him. I received a phone call from him a day later but was not able to return it until late at night, so I decided NOT to return the call and instead called the next day and found out the interviewer was off until Today. Left a message and was told by the person on the phone she would let him know I returned the call. I'm really, really interested in this internship and thought I at least had a chance for at least an in-person interview. It's fairly early in the day and who knows when he came into work today, so when should I try to contact him again? I'm uming he isn't going to return my call first thing in the morning or even during most of the day and probably leave it til towards the end of his shift... so should I just wait and hope he calls back by the end of the day? Or call around 4-5 and call him then? I don't want to pester. I'm leaning towards just waiting and not calling again.. I think he may just be busy or something.

I think i found a government conspiracy?

ok so i was sittin on google maps looking at islands down by antarctica and i found an island called deception island it looks like a doughnut and i was zooming in with the satellite and everything looked normal just some snowy mountains, but then i started to pan left and about 30 miles west of that island google maps has that area covered up with a big gray square. so i zoomed out a little and the square disappears and it just shows the ocean, but im just about positive theres an island there and i think its purposely being covered up because the gray box they have over that is the same one they put over military bases and whatnot. So does anyone have any ideas on what could be there? what country would have control of it? and could i be shot for posting this? tell me what you guys think..

My iguana is not eating for the last 4 days and looks like he's dying what should we do?

how long have you had this iguana? what are you feeding him, we need more details to tell you what to do but ultimately we are going to tell you to go to the vet becasue well, we are not vets and cant really give to good of medical advice. yes if your not shure whether or not it is a he or a she it may be a egg laiden she and she has a egg impaction. it could have intestinal parasites, pet stores sell a anti pest spray and wormer fro you iguana if you dont have a vet. im not shure how long you have had this iguana, but it wouldnt surprise me if you havent had it long. if your are not giving or providing the correct nutritional needs of a igunana they are very prone to bone deficiencies, expecially if it doesnot have the proper lighting and amount of light. the heat may be off, the humidity may be low. the tank or what ever enclosure your keeping the iguana in may be too small. i have heard that iguanas change colors sorta if they are feeling ill. have you noticed any color change, thinning, diareahha, or mucous? these are all signs of illness. also i have seen mouth rot in alot of iguanas from the cage being way way to small. i hope this isnt the case, mouth rot is hard to cure. umm, what else. iguanas and most other reptiles expecially if they have been moved to a new location in the room, being handled WAY to much can become stressed, and need to be left alone for awhile, and they will start eating again. all i can say is if there is not other signs of illness, the cage is pretty darn big ( theses lizards get very very large mind you) and your still not shure, maybe you go to the vet and he thinks he is fine or you treat it with stuff at the petstore, and are giving the correct food, giving the exact amount of light needed, giving it fresh food and water. then i am not shure what to tell you. just go to the vet it would be alot more easier than trusting one of us to predict whats wrong with the iguana. im not trying to sound rude. but if your life was in someone elses hands would you want somebody on here asking other people that may know something may not know something about what they should do?

A family member in trouble...?

I have concern for my Aunt. She suffers from a few medical problems- migraines, an esophegial problem which she sometimes loses her dinner, she had gastric byp surgery that she had to have reversed over 6 months ago because of the throat issue. She has some other things that I wonder if they're just coping problems. Like she says she's got fibroid mialsia (spelling?) and anxiety. Anyway the real problem is that she has this doc that seems to give her a script for whatever she wants. She is on effexor (300mg)which isn't a subtle dose, something for anxiety, methadone, vicaden, and some odds and ends of others. Can a judgment entry be over ruled or changed?

Long story short, we lost a civil suit. The suit claimed the plaintiff fully and completely performed its obligations (we purchased granite counters and they didn't fit and company never came back to finish) and that we neglected to pay for them. Well, we did pay 100% and our credit card company did a charge back because after a week of no reply from plaintiff they said we didn't have to pay, So company sued us and won because they had an attorney and we didn't. I'm 18 and just started college cles. I need to get a job, but with the way I am, I feel like I'll never get one, or if I do, I feel like I'll be horrible at it and constantly making mistakes and will get fired or something. I actually did manage to go to one store last summer and ask for an application, and they gave me one, but never ended up calling me back, so either they just decided they weren't hiring, or they got the impression that I was shy and nervous and didn't want me. I'm not sure which it was. But now I really need to get a job. I'm just so afraid though. I just know I'd screw up a job interview, because of course I'm going to be nervous. And when I'm nervous I always end up stuttering or saying something stupid, and my body starts shaking. I can just picture being asked a question that catches me off guard, and I'd just sit there blathering like an idiot, or I would just not even know what to say. And if I did manage to get a job because by some miracle, the manager didn't get the impression that I'm a complete nutjob, I'd still be nervous and I'd just be petrified that I'd make mistakes and be humiliated in front of a bunch of people, or make the manager really mad. And I pretty much have to get a job in a store or in a restaurant where I'd work behind the counter, and I'm really not good at figuring out how to do manual things like that (like working at the cash register). I just don't know what to do. Sometime in the next few days I have to start going to places to see if they're hiring and get applications, and I know you have to present yourself to the manager as confident, and I just know that no matter how much I try, I'm NOT going to come across that way, because I'm NOT confident at all, I'm just a nervous wreck. What is the actual difference between SOPs, motivation letters, and autobiographies?

I don't know what SOP means to you, but to me it's Standard Operating Procedure (or Procedures,) which is nothing at all like an autobiography. What the heck is a motivation letter?

If you are being hurt about what you hear, it is your fault because they don't know that they are talking about your life style so they don't realize that they are hurting you. They can make a push for Chauncey Billups because they really need a strong point guard to complement Brand and Maggette. Either that, or they can take a swing at getting Mike Conley Jr. via trade in the draft or hope Acie Law falls to them. Until they get their point guard situation resolved, the Clippers are pretty much going to be lottery bound every year. Car Transmission Problems Please Help?

Ok so I got this car while my girl is away for a while. I got a 1994 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl RS.It is a automatic. FWD. It drove home great. It sat for about a week. I go out there to start it and drive it around for a while and it would not go into gear. I discovered it has a transmission leak. I can not seem to find out where in the heck that the transmission fluid goes in at. I have looked EVERYWHERE on that motor for the transmission dip stick. So where can I find a diagram to see where the transmission fluid goes in at. Also what mite cause the transmission fluid to leak as well as how could I possibly fix the problem? Thanks for the help

Ehm, that's MY horses mane!?

I have a pony named Robbie, and he had this gorgeous mane, it was so long and thick and it is snowy white. I think it's his best feature. Me and my family went away for a week and left him in the capable hands of our horsey friends, with the instructions that noone could ride him apart from them and the woman who owns the yard. When we got to our destination, the woman who owns the yard calls me and says "One of the riding school horses has fallen sick, and I was wondering if I could use Robbie for an own-a-pony day?" (an own-a-pony day is where children who use the riding school for lessons can have a pony for the day and they groom and clean tack etc.) I wasn't going to be using him as I was in another country, so I said of course, as long as the family looking after him wouldn't need to use him. So a little girl from the riding school was igned Robbie, and all was fine until they were given a 'manes and tails' lesson. They were platting, thinning and doing MINOR trimming. Well, the little girl who rode Robbie didn't understand minor, and cut a *TRIANGLE* out of his mane! It is unsalvageable, I may need to hog him if I ever want him to look normal until it grows in. I don't think this is fair, seeing as I lent him to the riding school for a day, an he is a show horse. It has really angered me, especially as she just left me to find out, didn't call me and say there had been an incident. I was wondering, do you think I should complain to the owner of the yard, or just leave it?

It does sound like he's reacted to something in the round bale of hay. Generally with heaves you want out as much as possible as that tends to be the most dust free. You may need to feed soaked hay but I would try the bales from different suppliers and see if that helps. You're going to have to be really careful about the quality of hay he gets and use a dust free bedding so shavings of some sort, definately not straw.

Tired of dad always going with sister's side?

my little sister is a pain in the heiny. she cries when you accidently push her. Almost every person i know that has had red hair has changed the color of it. Their hair was absolutely gorgeous before and then they die it and ruin it completely! I suffered severe emotional abuse from my friends in high school.i was timid,humble and a complete pushover.i was also extremely quiet and never spoke much,keeping to myself.i am really smart,and to make matters worse good-looking also.i hate attention and the spotlight being on me.these guys usually spoke for me before i could even open my mouth,they did this non-stop.they would set limits for me,for what i could or could not achieve,not verbally mostly by actions or words that would convey a subconscious message.for instance they would like say,'no tim (not real name) cant do so and so 'cos of this or that...',like maybe if someone asked me something.and they would mock me and giggle among themselves,like 'lil b1tches that they are.i couldnt do anything,because whatever i did they would find it amusing and laugh.all this jeering and sh1t seriously destroyed me!!
