Why is it that Americans are so .....?

Americans are so worried about immigrants and what we need to start worring about is our children being safe in our schools with all the killings and kids carrying weapons to school. Why are they carrying weapons in the first place and for what reason do they need to feel unsafe? Isn't school supposed to be a safe haven for kids? Why are alot of kids so angry? why is this becoming an epidemic?
