In conan xbox game, i am stuck at the start of beech&cliffs just at the start. cant get to 2nd triumvirate?

The 2nd triumvirate is the one on the higher ledge across the chasm/ ditch. Once you throw away the boulder, jump on the close-grip section, climb them by pressin B and then jump the left. From here on, I cant jump acroos the chasm to the next ledge...i have tried numerous angles and directions etc...help please
