I think i found a government conspiracy?

ok so i was sittin on google maps looking at islands down by antarctica and i found an island called deception island it looks like a doughnut and i was zooming in with the satellite and everything looked normal just some snowy mountains, but then i started to pan left and about 30 miles west of that island google maps has that area covered up with a big gray square. so i zoomed out a little and the square disappears and it just shows the ocean, but im just about positive theres an island there and i think its purposely being covered up because the gray box they have over that is the same one they put over military bases and whatnot. So does anyone have any ideas on what could be there? what country would have control of it? and could i be shot for posting this? tell me what you guys think..
