Is it true that compared to a 4 year college it is better than a two year college.?

Is it better to atend a four year college, because you are able to have the real college experience, like making life long friends from living in the dorms, or joining a fraternity, being able to walk to cl because sense you live on campus.At this time I attend 2 YEAR college , which is not motivating. It takes me 2 hrs to get to school, I can not have the real college experence,because the two year college I go to does not have any dorms. Also I really can not make any friends, because I have to catch the bus right when I get out of cl. I also noticed that I my grades has dropped, because I just do not feel I am having the real college experience. So can anybody give me any advice of comments about my issue?
