My Throat Hurts, it has white spots, and slimey feel.?

So I got these white spots in the back of my throat and when I swallow my throat hurts. Also, it feels like there's some type of slime stuck in the back of my throat... Can you tell me what on Earth it is?..and if you know what it is what's a home remedy or cure for it? Thanks.
