Boyfriend's birthday present! Easy ten points!?

My boyfriend Nick and I have been going out for about 5 months now and his birthday is in 2 weeks! I thought about getting him a nice football, and somehow personalizing it by getting, "Happy Birthday Nicholas, love sarah" imprinted on it somehow. Is that possible? He is also going to start snowboarding with me every weekend, so maybe some kind of snowboard gear?! I'm willing to spend around 60 dollars. HELP!
